FCDO Document Legalisation Process
Documents intended for use in Taiwan must first be apostilled by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO), then submitted to the Consular Section of the Taipei Representative Office for attestation.

Notes/Comments
The Taipei Representative Office in London also handles the legalisation of documents from the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands, Falkland Islands, Ghana, Seychelles, and Sierra Leone. Documents connected to regions north of Durham, including Cumbria and Scotland, must be sent to the Taipei Representative Office in Edinburgh, which also covers the Isle of Man.
Chinese translations must be legalised separately for use in Taiwan.
