FCDO Document Legalisation Process
Documents for use in Vietnam must first be apostilled by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office, then presented to the Vietnamese Embassy’s Consular Section for attestation.

Notes
The Vietnamese Embassy in London also handles legalisation for documents from UK Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies. These documents must first be legalised by the relevant authorities, re-stamped by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office before submission.
