FCDO Document Legalisation Process
Documents intended for use in Lebanon must first be sent to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to be apostilled and then presented to the Embassy of Lebanon.
Fees
- Corporate documents: £201
- Personal documents: £85-£130
- If processed through the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce: Additional £32 per document
Processing Times
5-6 working days (longer if processed through the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce).
Notes/Comments
- The memorandum of association and articles of association of a company must be legalised separately.
- Certain commercial documents, such as invoices and certificates of origin, may require an ad valorem charge and must be stamped by the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce.
